Best basic bread recipe ever! (Gf/Df/Ef/Sf/Nf)
I am sooooo happy to have FINALLY found a doable homemade allergy free recipe!
2 1/2 cups gluten free flour (for homemade recipe look it up in this section)
1/2 tsp xanthan ( only if it’s not included in the gluten free flour
4 tsp quick rising yeast
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup of olive oil
1 cup warm water
4 tbsp flaxseeds milled ( enough to replace 4 eggs)
Spray your bread pan. Set aside.
Take 4 tbsp flaxseeds + 12 tbsp warm water. Mix in a cup. Let sit for 5-8 minutes
Take 4 tsp quick rising yeast+ 1/3 cup warm water+ 1/2 tsp sugar. Set aside so it will activate. 5 minutes
Now you can mix all your dry stuff up in a bowl. Set aside.
Mix all wet ingredients together seperate. Don’t forget your oil and water.
Than slowly mix wet into dry. Make sure any lumps are mixed as good as possible. It will probably be flaxseeds and you don’t want huge bites of seed powder exploding into your mouth.
Beat for 2 minutes
It will be slimey
Dump into your loaf pan …making sure its only halfway full.
Now its proofing time, huh you ask…its basically your breads way of sitting in purgatory while it fluffs its feathers up. This process is easy. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Cover your pan with a towel….
Noooo Not a beach towel…but a hand towel that covers it all.
And PLACE THE PAN ONTOP OF THE OVEN.
so it can absorb the heat rays while its trying to double in size. Don’t bother it! Leave it be for 35-45 minutes. Than simply. REMOVE the towel you placed ontop of it and slide it in!
It will be ready in 40-45 minutes! And it tastes soooo good! Even my husband, WHO IS SOMEHOW “NOT INTO GLUTEN FREE STUFF” was eating up!!
So at last I say VICTORY!!!
