Gluten-free, vegan brownies

Here’s a really yummy allergy free recipe!


Preheat oven to 400 degrees, and take a 9×13 in pan and line it with parchment paper. Set aside.

You need:
*10oz dark cacao, at least 60% cacao. Broken into peices
*12 Tbsp coconut butter
*1 1/2 cups brown sugar
*5 Tbsp ground flaxseed, placed in a bowl with 15 Tbsp warm water. Set aside for 2-5 minutes. This is an egg replacement for 5 eggs
*1 1/4 cups gluten free flour (see my homemade gf flour)
*1/4 cup cacao powder, gluten and dairy free
** optional 1/4 cup chia seeds instead of nuts for crunchiness.

Put chocolate cacao bar bits and coconut butter into a sause pan over medium heat. Stir and allow to melt.

Add sugar, turn off heat.
Add flour, flaxseed egg replacement, chia seeds and cacao powder. Stir. Mixture will thicken instantly.


Pour and spoon spread batter onto parchment paper. Cook for 15-18 minutes. Once cooled it will get harder. So don’t over cook!! Let cool in pan, than cut. Makes about 20-25 squares. Pack in an overnight air tight container!
