Gluten-free, vegan Flat breads focaccia
Here’s a plain recipe that you can put meat inside for meat pies or spice it up with a spice of choice and some yogurt
Here is one of the yeast’s I use
And just incase you can’t eat sugar, and since this one calls for a tiny bit. I use Stevia, an all natural sweetener.
1 1/2 cups gluten free flour ( I make.my own see recipe in archives)
1 tsp xanthan gum
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp Stevia
1 packet (1/4 oz) of dry quick rise yeast granules
1 tsp olive oil
3/4 cup plus 1 tbsp hot water
Mix all your dry ingredients together, set aside. Pour hot water and olive oil together and mix. Mix dry ingredients in.
Spoon dough onto parchment paper in 5 balls. Spread out flat and let proof in a warm place for 40 minutes.
Than preheat oven to 400 degrees, you can sprinkle olive oil, Salt and rosemary over the top before cooking.
Cook for 15-20 minutes, it should be golden brown
Enjoy!
