Gluten free waffles!
I have wanted a waffle maker forever! Yet i forget everytime I go to the store! Well today I bought one! Hurray!
This recipe is a variation of The Welcoming Kitchen
3 Tbsp of Chia or flax seeds
3 / 4 cup water
Blend these together and set aside for 10 minutes
Mix:
1/4 cup coconut oil melted
2 1/4 cup non dairy creamer or coconut milk (if you use coconut milk instead of non dairy creamer add 1 tsp vanilla extract)
2 cups gluten free flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
Slowly add wet ingredients in while making sure that the flour bubbles are mixed well.
Pour into your waffle maker and enjoy! We added sunflower butter and honey! Yum
